PAHOLE SOOKKASIKON

Pahole Sookkasikon, Ph.D. graduated from the Department of American Studies in 2018.  His doctoral work and dissertation intervenes in the burgeoning field of Thai/American Studies, theorizing gender and sexuality as they operate through performance and cultural productions of Thai/American non/belonging and becoming.  Currently, Pahole is employed at MVNP — a fully-integrated advertising agency and public relations firm based in Honolulu.  His job title is Strategic Insights Specialist and his work is based-on developing an accurate understanding of corporate clients and strategic branding while cultivating a deep and intuitive consideration towards local communities in Hawaiʻi.
