One Health is dedicated to improving the lives of all species through the integration of human medicine, veterinary medicine, and environmental science. The One Health Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Certificate Program at the University of Hawai’i prepares students with the skills and knowledge to work collaboratively across disciplines to solve real-world problems using a One Health approach.
Certificate Eligibility
- Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students majoring in any field are eligible
- Requirements:
- 2.50 Cumulative Undergraduate GPA
- Completion of one introductory course in the sciences (examples: PH 201, ANSC 200, BIOC 241, BIOL 101, BIOL 171, BOT 101, ERTH 101, GES 102, OEST 101, OCN 102, ATMO 150, or SOC 180)

Undergraduate Students
Submit an online application to the One Health Program
Required application materials:
- Curriculum Vitae (see example)
- One letter of recommendation (send to the One Health Program: onehlth@hawaii.edu)
- An admissions interview will be conducted for qualified applicants.
Post-Baccalaureate Students
Submit a Unclassified Undergraduate admissions application to Manoa Admissions
Submit an online application to the One Health Program

- One letter of recommendation (send to One Health Program: onehlth@hawaii.edu)
- An admissions interview will also be conducted for qualified applicants.
