We offer a range of scholarships within our school and at the University. Native Hawaiian Student Services administers our scholarships and annually hosts application workshops.
Our school has also been successful in securing graduate assistant positions each academic year. A total of 30 out of our 65 graduate students have been hired as graduate assistants in our school (Source: IRO, ODS, IRO BASE, compiled by HSHK). The graduate teaching assistants’ positions allow our students to receive mentoring and training to assist faculty with their teaching and to train to teach foundational Hawaiian Studies courses. The graduate research assistant positions have allowed individual students to work one-on-one with faculty in their area of interest and to broaden their research skills. If you are interested in a graduate assistant position reach out to our main office or any of the faculty members.
