Papaya Smoothie

  • 4 cups papaya, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup milk, 2% reduced fat
  • 1 cup bananas, sliced
  • 8 each ice cubes
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 4 tsp fresh lime juice

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into glasses.

Notes
  • Substitute 2% milk with 1% or skim milk for a lower fat version.
  • Honey should be avoided even in processed foods for infants 12 months old or younger. Feeding honey to infants (12 months or younger) is associated with infant botulism.
