Subjects, events, etc. covered: This collection includes various reports and studies conducted by Hawai‘i Department of Transportation. These reports include Moanalua Valley moʻolelo (history, stories), historical application, stream relocation, and hydrology and sedimentary reports for construction. Included are various studies conducted by Parsons Brinckerhoff-Hirota Associates as well. General information about the Federal-Aid Highway System, highway proposal revisions, design, and details are also included within these reports. Records from the Department of Land and Natural Resources and State Historic Preservation Division are present as well.

Restrictions, if any: Government publications index cards are not available for view online, therefore a researcher will need to come in to physically view and request to see documents on the same day.
