Student Spotlight: Peter Bennett

Peter Bennett is a second-year MAAS student at UH Mānoa. He spent his summer in an internship at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKIAPCSS). There, he had the opportunity to sit through several courses they gave to government officials from all over the Asia-Pacific region, getting the chance to be informed about security within Asia/Oceania. While attending these courses, Peter took detailed notes that will be used in the future to see how courses at the center can be improved. Peter’s favorite part of his summer internship was getting to talk to the faculty and the students, as they were always open to discussion.
