Job Opening: Assistant Professor in Asian Studies- Fall 2025 (Review of Applications Begins November 18, 2024)
Assistant Professor, Asian Studies: The Department of Asian Studies in the College of Arts, Languages, and Letters at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa invites applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track, full-time assistant professorship, to begin Fall 2025, pending position clearance and availability of funds. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University of Hawai’i at Manoa (UHM) offers interdisciplinary BA and MA degree programs and Graduate Certificates in the study of China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Inter-Asia. The Department of Asian Studies seeks a collegial and talented colleague to contribute to all three of its degree programs, and in particular to its growing portfolio of courses on Asian International Affairs.
