What is the AANAPISI Program?
The AANAPISI program is one of eight federally designated Minority-Serving Institutions (MSI) programs and was established by Congress in 2007. After being awarded an AANAPISI grant in 2021, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Office of Student Equity, Excellence & Diversity (SEED) created the TIDES program.
TIDES supports Filipina/x/o and Pacific Islander students from Kaimukī, Farrington and Waipahu High School “to and through” UH Mānoa. On the college-level, we offer our services to all students who identify as Filipino and Pacific Islander.
