OLA Math and Science tutors are University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa students majoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). We provide tutoring support to currently enrolled students in:

• MATH 100, 111, 112, 134, 140X, 161
• MATH 215, 216, 241, 242, 243, 244

chemistry

• CHEM 100, 131, 161, 162, 272, 273 and related labs

biology
• BIO 101, 171, 172, 220, 275 and related labs

physics

• PHYS 100, 151, 152, 170, 272 and related labs

What is OLA Online Tutoring?



Our Mission

The Online Learning Academy provides online peer tutoring for University of Hawai’i at Mānoa students enrolled in lower division gateway classes to increase course completion.



Same day tutoring!

The Online Learning Academy (OLA) is a program at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa that provides free math and science tutoring to UH Mānoa undergraduate students. Students can schedule up to two hours in advance and up to two appointments per week on STAR Balance.

OLA tutors are current UH Mānoa undergraduate students who have earned a B or higher in the subjects that they tutor. Tutors are not replacements for instructors and course material. Please check information with your instructors and course material.
