Additional Notice to Ongoing Project

TO:

Building Coordinators, Buildings & Ground Management Office, Campus Security, Chairpersons, Deans, Directors, Faculty & Staff, Fire Safety, ITS, KOKUA Program, Parking Operations.

SUBJECT:
Biomedical Sciences Building Reroof Courtyard A, B, C, D and Recoat Eves.

CONTRACTOR:

International Roofing and Building Contractors

SCOPE OF WORK:

1) Remove and Replace the existing roof in courtyard A, B, C and D

2) Installation of new fluid applied coating to eves at each court

3) Removal and Replacement of interior finishes and systems damaged by moisture infiltration

4) Installation of PV pedestal and safety anchor supports. PV panels layout for reference only

5) Project Staging and Crane set up area attached

EFFECTIVE DATES:

11/20/2023 - 10/28/2024

HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION:

7:00am to 3:00pm. Some Saturday Work will be scheduled.

ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL (ACM) ABATEMENT:

None

ACCESSIBLE ROUTES:

No accessible routes are affected by this work.

ADVISORY:

All persons in the vicinity of this construction are advised to respect all barricades and all posted safety/detour signs. Your patience, cooperation and understanding are requested as the inconveniences inherent to repair work (noise, dust, odors and debris) are generated by this construction.
