CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

New Notice Additional Notice to Ongoing Project

TO:
Building Coordinators, Buildings & Ground Management Office, Campus Security, Chairpersons, Deans, Directors, Faculty & Staff, Fire Safety, ITS, KOKUA Program, Parking Operations.

SUBJECT:
Parking Structure Lighting Replacement

CONTRACTOR:
Paul's Electrical Contracting, LLC

SCOPE OF WORK:

This project is a lighting and lighting control replacement of the Lower Campus Phase 1 & Phase 2 Parking Structure. Scope of work includes removal of light fixtures and lighting controls, installation of new light fixtures, automated lighting controls.  Work currently scheduled for Summer break, work sequence coordination is ongoing with Commuter Services Events/Maintenance and work flow to be done within a floor section at a time.

Laydown Staging Area attached for FYI.  Project Contractor use of the Laydown Area will not impede daily access and use of the area.

EFFECTIVE DATES:

05/19/2025 - 08/17/2025

HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION:
Standard work time is 07:00am to 05:00pm

ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL (ACM) ABATEMENT:
None

ACCESSIBLE ROUTES:
Temporary limited accessibility of routes may intermittently be affected by this work.

ADVISORY:
All persons in the vicinity of this construction are advised to respect all barricades and all posted safety/detour signs. Your patience, cooperation and understanding are requested as the inconveniences inherent to repair work (noise, dust, odors and debris) are generated by this construction.
