CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

New Notice Additional Notice to Ongoing Project

SUBJECT:
Manoa Mini Master Plan Phase 2 - Site and Building Preparation Construction Start

CONTRACTOR:

Nan Inc.

SCOPE OF WORK:

This project is mainly underground electrical utility work and includes relocation of the existing transformer located in the grassy area behind the old Snyder Hall to a location closer to Edmondson Hall, rerouting the existing electrical infrastructure associated with the 12kV primary 
circuit that runs through the site of the future building.  The work also includes the installation of new underground electrical cabling at Maile Way fronting Spalding Hall, and along Farrington Road between QLC and Webster Hall.  In addition, additional ducts, cables, maintenance holes, etc. as required to complete the primary loop and secondary duct route for the relocation of Edmondson Hall’s transformer.  Temporary electrical power, as needed, will also be provided.

ACCESSIBLE ROUTES:

No accessible routes are affected by this work.

ADVISORY:

The roadway paths near and around the work will be modified as needed to keep the public safe. All persons in the vicinity of this construction are advised to respect all barricades and all posted safety/detour signs. Your patience, cooperation and understanding are requested as the inconveniences inherent to repair work (noise, dust, odors and debris) are generated by this construction.
