Aloha! Welcome to the Institute of Hawaiian Language Research and Translation, a program of Hawaiʻi Papa o ke Ao at the University of Hawaiʻi. The institute is committed to generating access to the resources of the Hawaiian language repository for all fields of study. Through this work, we aim to build a community that advances UH as a place of learning grounded in aloha ʻāina–so that the sustainable practices deeply rooted in Hawaiʻi can be perpetuated for generations to come.
