Not enough hot water? You know what, though...the students should know not everything always goes according to plans. It's real life, not Disney World.
P.S. I have a small coffee maker in my room, and this is my easiest source of hot water (and caffeine, of course.)

Yes they know its not perfect. Someone told me about a coffee maker, but I didn't have one. I used a couple of pots on portable burners. It still didn't make enough for all groups. Thanks for the suggestion!
