The World Bank rates Taiwan top in East Asia for gender equality in the workplace. One the other hand, Taiwan is one of the fastest aging regions in the world, is #9 on the scale of vulnerability to disaster, and has an growing rural-urban gap.

With her profound involvement in the social sector and her knowledge across multiple countries, Jill will discuss three major social issues in Taiwan (aging, youth poverty, and increasing disasters), as well as the trends and opportunities of Taiwan from the perspective of a nonprofit organization.
