Center for Chinese Studies participated in the NCUSCR organized China Town Hall event on April 9, 2024. The Town Hall featured US Secretary of State, Kurt Campbell for the main national livestream 1 – 2 pm (HI time) and over 60 US partner institutions as co-hosts. Following the Town Hall, CCS director Ming-Bao Yue moderated the Local Town Hall focusing on the topic, Engaging China Through Academic and Educational Exchanges at UH Manoa, with the panelists, Professor Baoyan Cheng, Professor Cathryn Clayton, Mr. Brent White, and Ms. Peggy Blumenthal.
