International Fellowships have been in existence since 1917. The program provides support for women pursuing full-time graduate or postdoctoral study in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and who intend to return to their home country to pursue a professional career. Funding Support

Fellowship of up to $5,000 is for the state of Hawai’i residents.

Special Requirements

• Are women working on graduate degrees with a focus on Asia, Pacific Rim countries (excluding the United States) and islands located in the Pacific
• Attending a university located in Hawaii
• Have financial need
• A minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2
