Academic Credits
8 credits, equivalent to two semesters of Chinese courses at UHM
Non-UHM students who registered through UHM Outreach and successfully complete the eight-week summer program can receive their UHM transcript.

Program Fees
$7,600 USD – Estimated Program fee (subject to change)

Curriculum
CHN 204 Accelerated Intermediate Mandarin (8 UHM credits)
Content of 201 and 202 covered in one semester.

CHN 305 Third-Year Chinese for Business Professionals (6 UHM credits)
Accelerated, intensive advanced course focusing on general advanced listening, speaking, reading, and writing communicative needs of business professionals in the Chinese business context.
Lecture/Contact Hours: 165hrs
CHN 399 Directed Third-Level Reading (2 UHM credits)
For those who need special assistance, e.g., in reading texts in their area of specialization or at a pace more rapid than those of standard courses.

CHN 404 Accelerated Fourth-Level Mandarin (6 UHM credits)
Content of 401 and 402 covered in one semester.
