How advising works:

General advising: 30-minute appointments for a wide variety of advising needs by appointment only.

Express Advising: 5-10 minute advising sessions to answer quick questions and process basic paperwork on a walk-in basis.

Transfer Advising: Hour-long appointments for prospective and transfer students for admission, graduation, and resource information by appointment only.

Mandatory Advising: 30-minute appointments each semester for freshmen, sophomores, and transfers (first semester only).

Graduation Advising: Students in a teacher licensure program (Elem Ed, Sec Ed,  P.E., and post-baccalaureate majors) are required to come in for advising one year prior to graduation for a graduation check.  Students in the KRS – Health and Exercise Science majors are required to come in for advising at least one semester prior to graduation for a graduation check. Hour-long appointments by appointment only.
