Steve Alm is Honolulu’s prosecuting attorney. Elected in 2020, he is only the third person to hold the post since 1990. Alm previously served as U.S. Attorney for Hawai‘i and as a circuit court judge from 2001 to 2016. As a judge, he helped create the nationally noted HOPE Probation program. He is an alumnus of the UH Lab School.
