He research emphasizes the detection of galaxy clusters and the evolution of galaxies. Following postdoctoral positions at Johns Hopkins University and University of California – Davis, Gal joined UH Mānoa’s Institute for Astronomy (IfA) in 2006. He teaches, conducts research, and is responsible for the IfA’s outreach programs.[/av_textblock]
