Maya Maxym, MD, PhD, FAAP, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine and a Pediatric Hospitalist at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children. In addition to her clinical duties, she co-directs the Global Health Curriculum for Pediatric Residents, co-leads Pediatric ECHO Hawai‘i, and is Co-Lead of the Department of Pediatrics Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.
