Maia Kobabe is the author of the award-winning graphic memoir, Gender Queer, which became the most challenged book in the United States in 2021 and 2022. Kobabe’s short comics have been published in The New Yorker, The Nip, and the Washington Post. E has an MFA in Comics from the California College of Arts and lives in the Bay Area.
