Karla Zarate-Ramirez is Associate Vice President, Major Gifts at the University of Hawai‘i Foundation. Before joining UHF in 2016, she worked at the American Friends Service Committee Headquarters in Philadelphia where she was director of campaign, leadership and planned gifts. Zarate-Ramirez earned her MS in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and her BA from Hampshire College, Amherst, Massachusetts.
She also has a Certified Fundraising Executive credential.
