Kapuaʻala Sproat

Kapua Sproat

Born and raised on the North Shore of Kauaiʻi, Kapuaʻala Sproat is Director of the Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law. She is also Associate Professor of Native Hawaiian and Environmental Law at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Before UHM, Sproat spent nine years as an attorney in the Mid-Pacific office of Earthjustice. She earned her BA from Mills College in political, legal and economic analysis. In 2015, Sproat was appointed to the Board of Water Supply’s Board of Directors.
