Kalamaoka’aina Niheu is a Kanaka Maoli family physician and Associate Medical Director for COVID Response at LifeLong Medical Care. She is also the co-founder of the Standing Rock Healer’s Council and the Mauna Medic Healers Hui, and physician for Onipa’a Na Hui Kalo, a Hawai‘i-wide coalition for the revitalization of Native Hawaiian traditional Kalo farming and food sovereignty.
