Senator Glenn Wakai was elected to the State House of Representatives in 2002 and the Senate in 2010. He is Chairman of the Energy, Economic Development, and Tourism Committee. He previously spent 11 years in television news reporting in Guam and Saipan before returning to Hawai’i to work for KHON and KHNL. Honorary Consul for the Republic of Palau, Glenn is also on the boards of Aloha Medical Mission and the Japanese Cultural Center.
