After graduating in 2006 from UH-Mānoa (Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering), Chad Walton spent several years at the John A Burns School of Medicine as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Center for Cardiovascular Research and then as faculty in the Department of Medicine and later Surgery, where he also served as the Director of Trauma Research (UCERA, now UHP). Chad is currently the Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research and helps guide UH-Mānoa campus-wide strategic research development initiatives.
