He led campaigns to gain passage of federal legislation that has brought over $200 million to community groups nationwide for food security and farm to school projects. In 2017, he authored an exposé of the hunger industrial complex, “Big Hunger: The Unholy Alliance Between Corporate America and Anti-Hunger Groups.
