Investigative journalist RACHEL LOUISE SNYDER is the author of the award-winning No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us (2019), as well as two previous books: Fugitive Denim, an exposé of global fashion production, and What We Have Lost Is Nothing, a novel. She has covered stories around the world, from Azerbaijan to Tibet, and her work has appeared in the New Yorker, New York Times Magazine, and the Washington Post.
