Pasefika Passion Pipeline (3P) is a collaborative effort between University of Hawaii Manoa-Office of Multicultural Students Services and Office of Vice President for University of Hawaii Community Colleges (UHCC). The main goal of this program is to increase the recruitment of non-Native Hawaiian Pacific Islanders (non-NHPI) in the State of Hawaii, to pursue learning at any UHCC. We also provide support for retention and transfer strategies once our students begin their college education at a UHCC.
The mission of 3P is to lay the foundations within Pacific Islander communities in Hawai'i to seek higher education. This task is not limited to impacting schools and Pacific Islander communities, but rather it requires the formation of partnerships between families and institutions.
With the involvement of families and the collaboration of schools and organizations, Pasefika Passion Pipeline (3P) looks forward to increasing the representation of Pacific Islander students in the University of Hawai'i community colleges and in the University of Hawai'i system as a whole.
