Like the beat of our hearts, the beat of the drum can be a powerful force. The Eisa Drum Festival and Daiichi Hirata are pleased to announce a new show called, ” Drums of Hope.” This production brings together drummers from Hawaii, Okinawa and Fukushima. With special guest Kazufumi Miyazawa, vocalist of “The Boom”.
Exploring the connections between the people of the sea and how culture can provide the light we need to get through some of our darkest of times. This event is part of the 30th Anniversary of the Hawaii Okinawa Sister State Relationship.
Tickets will be available at the Hawaii Okinawa Center and A Little Bit of Everything.
