In celebration of the 120th Anniversary of Korean Immigration to Hawai'i, the Center for Korean Studies presents a Symposium: Korean Women Immigrant Leaders in Hawai'i.

The early Korean community was enriched by several women who were leaders in education, social work, and promoting Korean culture. The 120th celebration of Korean immigration is the appropriate occasion to learn about the accomplishments of these leaders. This symposium will feature four Korean women leaders: Nodie Kim (Sohn), Ha Soo Whang, Halla Pai Huhm, and Chun, Yun Hee.
