Our translations are a part of a learning process at IHLRT. Mentors provide guidance but ultimately, these are products produced by students–not professional translators. This collection contains a mixture of drafts that were brought to different levels of completion. We consider this work an entry point for understanding the original articles.

IHLRT is committed to indigenous data sovereignty and increasing equity for and improving the well-being of Native Hawaiians. As part of its work, IHLRT strives to increase and improve intellectual access to Hawaiian language materials.
