Aloha Selene,

I enjoyed reading your lesson plan. I also did fish form and function and found many similarities between our lessons. I bet the discussions about the nuclear fallout and effects on sea life was very interesting! I also did a unit on energy prior to this lesson, but didn't try to link it... Overall I thought it was an interesting art/science lesson that the kids really enjoyed.

Thank you. Hope your lesson went well, too! I have been linking different subject areas with science lately and the kids are really seeing things a little differently. Adding art or music to science lessons helps the students that are more right-brained or who don't really like it much.
