Bryan,
I like your simple comment above, and my students thought this activity was more fun than usual, too. One girl asked on the way out of class that day, "Can we do more activities that require safety glasses?"

Your lesson plan reminds me that I need to spend some time looking over how you all are writing these before I do my next one. I've rarely had to produce written lesson plans, and writing these for TSI after a day of teaching has been a challenge. You've given me a couple ideas that I think will help me - one being an easy-to-understand way of narrative writing.

Mahalo Dan, I too have not had to work on detailed lesson plans as things are in constant flux sometimes with student populations. Thanks for the kind words.
