I really like this idea! Thank you for sharing it. I like the question "Do you know any scientists? Think reeally hard!"

Anne, I like the graphic organizer. I've done this lesson with some of my students but have two other classes to go. I'm going to use the graphic organizer with these two classes. I think it will give them some direction. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mary! Let me know ow it goes - also if you find decide to revise/improve. It is very much a first draft that I'm still trying to make more user friendly.

Thanks for posting your organizer! I tried using that with a different period and it seemed to really help my speedier students so they weren't sitting there idle waiting for some of my more challenged students. I did add the demeanors and modes worksheets so students had that to refer to while working.

This is the graphic organizer I used with my students to complete the Practices of Scientists activity. I wanted all the instructions to be written down for my students to support their listening challenges (ELL students) and for all steps of the activity to be on one page to make the activity feel less daunting.
