Kinesthetic Moon Activity
Aloha,
This was a great activity that challenged my students to get outside of their comfort zones and to think critically about spacial relationships. Lunar phases can be used as a great topic for physics and many connections can be made an my Career Technology Class. For the purpose of this lesson we just focused on the lunar phases and their connection to the Earth's tides.
To implement these activities, I have found that by adding a supplemental worksheet to each activity, their is little confusion about what we are doing and where to record student answers. Has anyone else been using supplemental worksheets or materials for their lesson? How has that worked out for you?
