It features two local, vegetarian food trucks and is a gathering place for the UH Mānoa Campus Community.
Sustainability Courtyard Revitalization Project of 2014
Starting in the Spring Semester of 2014, the UH Mānoa Sustainability Council is revitalizing the Sustainability Courtyard as a central gathering place on campus.
The effort to revive the courtyard will increase visibility and awareness of the space, and it will provide opportunities to utilize and maximize effectiveness of the area.
Tuesday, April 1st:
12 – 4pm: Sign Painting for Courtyard Entrances
1:30pm: Meeting about Student Sustainability Fund
Monday, April 7th: 12 – 1:30pm (First Mondays): Produce Sale
Tuesday, April 8th: 12 – 4pm: Sign Painting for Courtyard Entrances
Friday, April 11th: 11am-1pm: UH Sea Grant promoting Al Gore event and giving away tickets for his talk on 4/15
Tuesday, April 15th: 12pm – 4pm: Earth Day T-shirt Screenprinting (BYO T-shirt)
EARTH DAY, Thursday April 24th:
- 10am – 4pm: Earth Day Festival featuring 40+ tents of local, student groups/organization (Cycle Mānoa will have a bike sale of bikes <$100), poi pounding
- 4-6pm: Reception for Bill McKibben Talk (6-730 @ Art Auditorium)
- 730 – 11pm: Night concert w/ Mike Love & Sam Ites, Lucie Lynch & slam poet JROB
