The War Crimes Documentation Initiative (WCDI) website is a gateway to information resources, which reflects the dynamic growth and change in the way information is produced, disseminated, accessed, and utilized. The purpose of the website is to facilitate the work of WCDI and to connect researchers to war crimes information.

The WCDI web pages are protected by copyright. Generally, you may print, reproduce, and use the information from the WCDI website for non-commercial, personal, or educational purposes. Redistribution or commercial uses are prohibited without express written permission.
Copyright and the Data
All users must respect the copyrights in the works, databases, and datasets that are accessible through WCDI and the University of Hawaiʻi network. When you use the War Crimes Documentation Initiative website, some or all of the following information may be stored: the Internet address from which our site is accessed, date and time, URLs, file names or words entered in search commands, links clicked on the page, and the browser and operating system used. If request forms are used email addresses (“From” and “To”) are logged. This information may be used for analyzing the use of resources, troubleshooting problems, and improving services.
