In the Intergroup Social Perception (ISP) Lab, we examine what influences stereotyping, prejudice, and intergroup relations. By integrating insights from both social and developmental psychology, we are able to advance our theoretical understanding of social perception and intergroup processes and apply this knowledge to the creation of effective interventions to minimize negative outcomes due to stereotyping, interpersonal friction, or persistently biased social perceptions.
