Is Sinclair Building open to the public?

We are currently only open for students and faculty. We require a valid UH ID to enter the building.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Face masks are not required in the Common areas (hallways, stairwells, lobbies, bathrooms, etc).
Face masks must be worn indoors in reservable meeting rooms.

Where are the study areas in Sinclair?

The study areas are on the first floor, second floor, and third floor. The third floor has A/C. 

Are we allowed to eat in Sinclair?

Eating is not allowed inside the building. There are some tables and benches outside the building where students can eat.

What are the hours at Sinclair?

The hours for Sinclair are located on the hours tab on our website.

Where are the Restrooms?

The restrooms are located on the basement floor, 2nd floor, and 3rd floor. 

Where can I do my Zoom classes?

Students may take classes on zoom in any study areas. Talking is ALLOWED. Please be mindful and speak softly as everyone is studying.

*These areas are available for more private settings:

Room 112 (but only if there is no class occupying room)
Study pods in Heritage room

If you would like to request a private Zoom Room, Hamilton library has room reservations made available for this. 

Where is the Advising Office (Rm 301)?

On the 3rd floor in Sinclair Building. You can walk up the stairs or take the elevator up and enter through the brown doors and it will be on your left.
