Academic Advising

There are many advising resources and offices available at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and each advising office addresses specific needs. For example, if you want to learn more about becoming a Hawaiian Studies major: contact the Hawaiian Studies Department. If you are interested in learning more about Communicology, contact that department. For “general” advising services see your College/School-level adviser (for example, Communicology majors can visit The Advising Center for Arts & Humanities, Languages, Literature, Linguistics).

To learn more about majors offered at Mānoa and to find out your major’s College/School-level advising office’s contact information, visit the Program Sheets website. http://www.manoa.hawaii.edu/ovcaa/programsheets/.

Visit the Manoa Advising Center if you fall into any of the following:
Pre-Academy of Creative Media
Pre-Business/Exploratory Business
Pre-Communications
Undecided/Exploratory

In addition, there are supplementary advising offices available to assist you with special requirements:

Honors Program
Pre-Health/Pre-Law Advising Center
