Join these fun and educational clubs of your choice! As a pre-health student, there are many clubs that will help you to learn more about your dream profession, get involved on campus and in the community, and help you network with peers to explore similar interests! If you find a club that you enjoy, furthering your experience by becoming an officer within the club may lead to leadership experience. There are many more clubs at UHM than the ones provided below.
For more clubs, please visit UHM’s Student Life and Development RIO List
Pre-Health Clubs
Founded in 2002, the Medical Student Mentorship Program (MSMP) is a student-run organization that pairs current medical students John A. Burns School of Medicine with undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
Through these pairings, our goal is to help foster relationships between undergraduates and medical students and faculty. Over the years, we have paired more than 600 mentees with medical student mentors via an extensive matching process. Mentor-mentee pairs contact each other regularly and participate in a variety of activities throughout the year.
