How to Use this List

Below is a table of scholarships and fellowships that require University endorsement.

Understanding the headings:

  • Name: Name of fellowship/scholarship, linked directly to the award website.
  • Description: Purpose of fellowship/scholarship and award amount.
  • Eligibility: Includes field of study, class standing, and citizenship status requirements. Note that each award may have additional eligibility requirements.
  • LocationWhere the award may be used.
  • Campus Contact: Not all fellowships and scholarships are administered from a single office/program at UH Mānoa. Applicable links to UH Mānoa website information or contact email addresses are provided for your convenience. For awards that are not linked, you may contact us at ugfellow@hawaii.edu for information. Our office plans to add other awards requiring University endorsement in the future.
    Please note that the Scholarships & Fellowships Office only administers some of the awards below. Other awards are posted for your convenience, but you must check with the appropriate office for the most accurate/up-to-date information. For awards that UH Mānoa does not have a designated representative, please contact us to see how we may assist.
  • Campus Deadline: Internal campus deadline set by the UH Mānoa office overseeing the application process.
  • Official Deadline: Final endorsed application and all supporting materials must be submitted to the respective agency handling the scholarship/fellowship by this date. Please work with the respective campus entity to ensure your complete application is submitted.
