2026 MLK DAY OF SERVICE
Join the Office of Civic and Communty Engagement and the YMCA on Saturday, September 12, for a September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance as we remember the lives lost and the heroes who stepped forward during the tragic events of 2001. Volunteers will helping out with the Waimea Valley Kalo and ʻAwa Festival. The event will be from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Bus transportation is available to and from campus and the Valley.

MLK JR. DAY OF SERVICE
Join us on the East side of the island performing restoration and beautification activities on the Ka'iwi Coastline. The event will be from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. All equipment will be provided.
