ABOUT US
The Warrior Battalion consists of over 120 Cadets from all over the world. These cadets all share one goal in mind - to graduate and commission as a second lieutenant in the Army. The Warrior Battalion is a great opportunity for anyone with a strong desire to serve in the Army.
IKAIKA IMUA
TO GO FORWARD WITH STRENGTH; IKAIKA IMUA is the Warrior Battalion's long-time motto. Specific to our home and culture, Hawaiʻi, where we share long-time historic ties with. Each cadet is said to embody the Warrior Spirit and carry it with them after leaving the program.
17 FALLEN
A life-size carving of a traditional Polynesian Warrior by Master Carver Tuione Pulotu was donated to the Army ROTC Department in honor of the 15 UH Army ROTC Cadets and 2 Cadre members who gave their lives for their country in past warfare dating back to 1939.
FREEDOM'S GARDEN PROJECT
Rumor flies around fast within the Army of which universities have a good reputation and which ones don’t. The University of Hawaiʻi has an outstanding reputation among graduating lieutenants for producing quality officers.
