CDT BURK, studies sociology and psychology at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa maintaining a 4.0GPA. He excels at adventuring with rigorous activities such as hiking and endurance swimming. Cadet Burk enjoys studying subjects like stoicism, philosophy, and psychology during his freetime. He utilizes this knowledge to help others understand and assist in present and future training.

CDT KA‘AKIMAKA, ensures that she is well rounded in all areas when it comes to leadership development as she not only involves herself in the local community, serving in the Hawaiʻi National Guard but also playing on the Women’s softball team at Chaminade University. CDT Ka‘akimaka continues to redefine and set an example for her peers, pushing others to be their best.

RICHARD MACKEY
CDT MACKEY, tirelessly on several occasions has mentored and coached his fellow cadets, adding greatly to the overall success of the Warrior Battalion. Cadet Mackey displays that he is not only physically, but mentally fit by holding a 3.77 GPA at Chaminade University. CDT Mackey is an active member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Honors Society, UH ROTC Color Guard and Habitat for Humanity.

The maximum normal APFT score is 300, with 100 total points available for each of the three events (pushups, sit-ups, two-mile run). If all three events are maxed, an extended scale is utilized, with one additional point added for each push-up and sit-up over the maximum, and one point for every six seconds under the max run time. These two cadets went above and beyond, surpassing the maximum APFT score.
