MSIV CDT Shkar Hakim is pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is an ADO CDT with 7 years in service as a Financial Manager (36B). He will be commissioning as a Finance Officer. He served as the training NCO with the 101st Financial Management Support Unit, in Fort Campbell, KY, and the Internal Control Manager at the 175th Financial Management Support Center at Fort Shafter, HI. He has been deployed to Sinai, Egypt. He is a recipient of the LTG Rienzi Award from the West Point Society of Hawaii. CDT Hakim has been married to his wife Sophia for 10 years and they have two children Yara, 9, and Bastian, 5.
