The Center for Renewable Energy and Island Sustainability includes faculty and students from the College of Engineering and eight other schools and colleges to work on cutting edge research and education problems in renewable energy and island sustainability. Current funding includes a Department of Energy (DOE) grant on work force training in Strategic Training and Education in Power Systems.
